I am lucky enough to already own one of these heaters having had one gifted to me last Christmas and can't recommend them highly enough. rnrnIf, like me, you have problematic sinuses or are just sensitive to smoke then this is the answer to all your incense problems as the heat releases the aroma without the smoke. The benefit is two fold as the more subtle nuances of a complex incense blend are easier to detect when they aren't masked by the smell of smoke. rnrnThe variable temperature guage is another plus - no more scorched benzoin leaving you gasping for air, for example, or petals releasing all their aroma in one quick pouff!. I'd recommend starting at the lowest temperature no matter what you are heating and gradually increasing it to most effective temperature (which according to a guide I have seen is approx: 10-20 for oils, 20-30 for soft dhoops, 30-40 for powdered incense, 40-70 for hard resins & dhoops, 50-70 for flower petals and 60-80 for wood chips... but do experiment for yourself).rnrnIdeal for the home incense maker too as you can quickly test your experimental blends using minimal ingredients and tweak accordingly as required without having the fuss of lighting a new piece of charcoal. Just change the foil... but be careful, the foil can get very hot so invest in a pair of tongs or tweezers. rnrnIf you've never tried making your own incense before because of the mess and hazard of charcoal or not knowing what to do to make something like cones or sticks burn, then now is the time to forget all those worries.
