If you could wish for anything in the whole world what would it be? Now think what you would wish for if you had 3 wishes. Whether or not you believe in wishes is not the issue, what you are going to wish for is far more important. Think about it very carefully and make sure that you wish in 3D and full color, see all the details and if you see something you don't like change it before you close your eyes and say the words, I wish...
Same goes for if you forget something obvious. Work out your details before you make the wish. Writing it down is a good exercise.
Things you can wish for: Happiness, true love, lots of money, a new house, a new friend, your soul mate, to get married, to have a child, to go on a holiday, a new car, a better job...the list is endless.
But can you see what's missing from the list? Detail, colour, form, shape, life.
It's up to you to put all the details in.
For example: where do you want to go on holidays? Surely you must have somewhere in mind, so why not say so.
What sort of house do you want to live in? What size? Where?
How much money do you need?
Just remember to be as specific as you can be when you are making your wish.
Here are some ways to wish:
- "Touch blue and your wish will come true."
- Make a wish when you see three birds on a telephone wire.
- Put a watermelon seed on your forehead and make a wish before it falls off.
- Make a wish before you blow out the candles on your birthday cake.
- Make a wish on the first star you see at night.
- Throw a coin in a fountain; make a wish when the water clears so you can see your reflection.
- Make a wish on a new pair of shoes before you wear them for the first time.
- Make a wish with another person on a wishbone. Each takes an end and pulls until it breaks. The person with the largest piece of bone gets the "lucky break" and the wish.
- Make a wish on the first robin you see in the spring.
- Find a penny, wear it in your left shoe, and your wish will come true.
- Wishes made on the summer solstice are most likely to come true.
- Hold your breath and make a wish while crossing a short straight bridge.
